Needed a 1mm allen key and there were 1.27mm, 0.88mm keys available at local stores and online.
Prospect of getting one from overseas stores and waiting for a month or so was not an option.
Having a small lathe and a Dremel-like Radio Shack tool at my disposal should do the trick.

Design came to mind fast enough:

Successfully created 1mm allen key from a 2mm key.
